Mackenzie finished with a 14-under 266 on the Uplands course to edge past hard-charging Canadian Adam Hadwin and fellow American Aaron Goldberg by a shot.

His maiden victory was worth $40,000.

Hadwin fired a seven-under 63 to climb into a share of second place with Goldberg (66) at 13-under 267.
